The top image invokes a sense of peace though knowing how sick the man is there is that little worry that he's passed and laid out. Good I know he is not :) They say that the mind has great control over the body in cases where a person is very ill, that perspective or attitude can make the difference between living and dying at times. I see nothing but positive energy and feelings here that can only help him-- even if it is not a cure.
the top image of the person lying down is stunning. it reminds me of many classical paintings with the lighting and the draped blanket. the white cloth on the chair is just perfect too. really a very beautiful and sensitive image.
Great series, impressive. From my own narrowed western point of view; a bit mixed up too... Makes me feel a bit uncomfortable because this is not my world. I guess that proves you did a fine job here.
He doesn't look too healthy.
The best in this series, if you ask me.

You get at the heart of the action very well. The still life of candles and book is very attractive. Another fine series.
